Frogspawn is in the Pond

March 18th 2024. There’s always a rush of excitement at the arrival of these tiny black dots in their balls of jelly. They go through such incredible growth it’s no wonder that adults and children marvel as frogspawn transforms into perfect mini frogs, with legs that sprouted from no-where so they can leap right out of hands that are lucky enough to catch them!

Frogspawn is our inspiration this week as we search for something to help us find the sunshine on rainy days, or something to keep us going in challenging times.

With frogspawn as our teacher what can we ask ourselves?

What skills, resources and resilience is needed for the problem at hand? What strength, piece of silliness or piece of cake is needed to make problems feel smaller so we can tackle them? What can remind us that we are worth better, so we can stand up to trouble? What can help us grow rather than run away?
